Christmas Hope
Christmas Hope exists to reflect Jesus’ love by serving families in Gainesville-Hall County, providing clothing and gifts for elementary and middle school children during the holiday season.

More Children Reached

Since its beginning, Christmas Hope has continued to grow, blessing more children each year:

  • 2019: 111 children served
  • 2020: 159 children served
  • 2021: 185 children served
  • 2022: 246 children served
  • 2023: 262 children served
  • 2024: 306 children served
  • 2025: 335 children served

In 2021, Christmas Hope joined forces with other community organizations to form the Hall County Christmas Collaborative. This partnership helps streamline the application process, prevents duplicate assistance, and maximizes the number of families served each year.

Through Christmas Hope, we are making a lasting impact—one child, one family, and one Christmas at a time.

About Christmas Hope

For over 30 years, Christmas Hope (formerly Secret Santa) has served the Gainesville-Hall County community, bringing joy to thousands of children and families. Founded in 1985 under the leadership of Wanda Oliver and with the support of the Chattahoochee Baptist Association, Secret Santa thrived thanks to the dedication of countless volunteers, churches, and businesses.

Today, Christmas Hope carries on this legacy, ensuring that families in need continue to experience the joy and generosity of the holiday season. We are so grateful for Laura and Kimberly who lead this ministry today and serve so many children and families.
