About Good Samaritan
Good Samaritan Ministries of Northeast Georgia, LLC exists to serve individuals and families in need, primarily through food distribution. In 2024, we were honored to serve over 184,000 people, providing essential resources to our community. In addition to food assistance, we offer furniture and clothing (when available), job placement training, counseling, and health screenings to further support those we serve.
Our ministry is led by Executive Director Jackie Powers and Operations Manager Casey Minish, along with a dedicated team of volunteers who work tirelessly each week to make a difference.

We accept furniture, clothing and food donations every week day (Monday-Friday) 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at our warehouse located at 1220 McEver Road Gainesville, GA 30504.
Food Bank & Furniture Distribution Hours
Monday: 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Wednesday and Friday: 9:00 – 11:00 AM
Wednesday and Friday: 9:00 – 11:00 AM
Qualification & Details
Individuals who qualify for food assistance receive a large box of groceries once a month, which includes non-perishables, bread, desserts, fresh vegetables, meats, dairy, fruits, and drinks. Additionally, we welcome clients to visit as often as needed within their 30-day period for a smaller box of food, which may include bread, sweets, and other available items.
Furniture and clothing distribution is based on donations and is offered free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
